Giving Day for Scouting

Giving Day for Scouting is a one-day fundraising event with the objective of securing 116+ pledges or donations of $208 (or greater) in honor of the 116th anniversary of the founding of Scouting America on February 8, 2026.

We'll be enlisting the help of "Scouting Ambassadors", individuals who are our most loyal stakeholders, to share stories of the positive influence that our programs have on young men and women in Arkansas through a 30-second testimonial video, and to inspire Scouting Alumni and friends as we lead up to the big day.  More information is below if you are interested in being a Scouting Ambassador for 2026!  Please contact your District Executive if you would like to help!

On February 8, we will have a livestream to share results as they are coming in. We will also share progress through our website and with socialmedia posts. We will hold an Giving Day for Scouting Appreciation event in early summer for all Ambassadors and Giving Day Donors. More information to be announced in early 2026

All funds received benefit and support local Scouting programs in the Natural State Council.
