Camp De Soto Summer Camp

Located in the beautiful upland pinewood forest of Southern Arkansas, this oasis has served the De Soto Area Council since 1950’s. With all the modern amenities a scout could want it is TRULY the jewel of the De Soto Area.

Hi Campers! We are excited to offer something new this summer allowing you to enjoy summer camp program at Camp De Soto while still getting to spend weekends with your families. We will host two Camp De Soto Short Term Camps that will begin with check-in on Mondays. Scouts will stay until Thursday evening. Hopefully, this will make it more accessible to families across the Natural State Council!

We can assure you, the quality of our Summer Camp will be just as spectacular and fun as before, possibly better. Each Scout will be able to choose four merit badges per camp from a list of options according to their interests and needs. We have fun games and fun cooking events to make these two camps different and memorable for each Scout.
