ROCKS Program for First-Time Campers

The ROCKS Program is designed specifically for first-time campers to help them feel comfortable, confident, and ready for all the exciting adventures Camp Rockefeller has to offer. Through this specialized program, new campers receive the support and guidance they need to adjust to camp life and build lasting friendships.

Merit Badge Program

Our Merit Badge Program is designed to help campers develop new skills and earn recognition for their accomplishments. From outdoor survival to arts and crafts, our program offers a diverse set of badges that encourage learning, teamwork, and personal growth.

Lake Butler Activities

At the center of camp is the picturesque Lake Butler, offering countless water-based activities:

  • Swimming: Enjoy a refreshing swim in the pristine waters of Lake Butler.
  • Canoeing & Kayaking: Paddle across the serene lake while honing your skills in canoeing and kayaking.
  • Sailing: Learn the basics of sailing and navigate the waters with guidance from our experienced instructors.

Whether you're an experienced water enthusiast or a beginner, Lake Butler is the perfect place for aquatic fun and adventure.

Swimming Pool

In addition to Lake Butler, we offer a large swimming pool for those who prefer a controlled environment for swimming. It’s the perfect place to cool off, relax, and enjoy fun games and activities with friends.

Biking & Hiking Trails

For campers who prefer land-based adventures, we offer miles of scenic biking and hiking trails. Explore the beauty of nature, stay active, and challenge yourself with trails suitable for all skill levels.

STEM Program

Our STEM Program is designed to spark creativity and curiosity. Campers engage in hands-on projects, experiments, and technology-based challenges in areas like robotics, coding, and more. This program encourages campers to think critically, collaborate, and explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math.
