Cub Scout Resident Camp 2026 – Camp Rockasaurus

Step back in time to a land of dinosaurs, discovery, and prehistoric fun! This summer, Cub Scout Resident Camp at Camp Rockefeller becomes Camp Rockasaurus—a Jurassic-themed adventure where Cub Scouts will dig into ancient history, explore the world of dinosaurs, and uncover the wonders of the natural world. From fossil digs to dinosaur games and outdoor exploration, this is one camp experience your Scout will never forget!

 

Camp Highlights:

Here’s what your young explorer can expect on their Dinotopia journey:

• Real Fossils! – Cubs will examine authentic Arkansas fossils and even get to take one home as a prehistoric souvenir.

• Dino-Themed STEM Activities – Hands-on experiments and games centered around paleontology, geology, and ancient life.

• Range Sports – Test your aim with BB guns, archery, and slingshots.

• Waterfront Adventures – Cool off with boating and water play.

Whether your Cub is a budding scientist, a wild adventurer, or just loves dinosaurs, Camp Rockasaurus is the place to be this summer!

 

Registration & Pricing:

Registration is by Scout/Parent pair.
Early Bird Pricing (Ends May 1, 2026):

• First Youth: $175

• Additional Youth: $150

• Adults: $125

After March 1, prices will increase.

We strongly recommend that Cub Scouts attend with their parent or legal guardian.

Leadership Ratio Requirements:

• 2 adults per 8 youth minimum

• 1 additional adult per 4 additional Scouts
