BT: Butterfield Trail Webelos Woods

Webelos Woods is a fun, outdoor event designed to introduce Webelos Scouts to the world of Scouts BSA through hands-on activities like camping, fire-building, first aid, and navigation. Webelos camp alongside local Scouts BSA troops, giving them the chance to learn new skills directly from older Scouts while getting a glimpse of what awaits in their scouting journey. This weekend experience helps prepare Webelos for their transition to Scouts BSA and builds excitement for the adventures ahead.

 

At Webelos Woods, scouts participate in team-building exercises and gain confidence in outdoor skills while making new friends. Parents and leaders also have the opportunity to learn more about Scouts BSA, troop leadership, and the path to advancement. The event fosters a love for adventure and the outdoors, while reinforcing the core values of scouting through practical experience.
